Additional Information | Bloodborne pathogens are passed along through blood, saliva, and other bodily fluids, whereas airborne pathogens can be transmitted through the air—either falling to surfaces in droplets emitted when an infected person breathes or coughs, or hanging in the air in aerosolized form. This class will review both and BSI (Body Substance Isolation). This is also known as PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). We will reinforce donning and removal of PPE/BSI, lectures, practices, and refreshments will be provided. |
