| Additional Information | The Swiftwater Rescue-Operations Level Class is a comprehensive course designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed for safe and effective water rescue operations. Through classroom instruction and hands-on practice in a controlled pool environment, participants will learn and demonstrate proficiency in basic swimming, self-rescue techniques, victim contact rescues, and team rescue operations. The course covers the use of personal flotation devices, rescue ropes, throw bags, rescue boards, and other specialized equipment, ensuring that participants gain practical experience and familiarity with these tools. By the end of the course, participants will be prepared to handle various water rescue scenarios and work effectively as part of a water rescue team. A prerequisite for the course is Swiftwater Rescue: Awareness level.
