| Additional Information: | The AMU K9 Handler Class: Mastering Medical & Trauma Care for Working Dogs equips handlers with essential skills to save lives in the field. Through engaging lectures, hands-on practicums, and realistic scenarios, participants will learn to assess, treat, and manage medical and trauma emergencies specific to working K9s. This comprehensive training ensures handlers are prepared to provide critical care when it matters most. This course is open to all K9 handlers, USAR team members, law enforcement officers, EMTs, paramedics, and firefighters.
